  • Mike Ferrara chosen for South Jersey Magazine’s “Awesome Attorneys 2016”

We are proud to announce that Mike has been honored by South Jersey Magazine as an “Awesome Attorney” in the field of Personal Injury Law. This recognition is especially meaningful to Mike because the list was compiled through the recommendations of their readers.

As a long time Marlton resident, Mike takes great pride in serving South Jersey and he thanks the community for trusting him with their motor vehicle accidents, nursing home abuse, construction site injuries, slip and falls, and other personal injury cases over the past 44 years. We have been at 601 Longwood Avenue at State Highway 38 (next to the McDonald’s) since 1980 and we look forward to many more happy years helping our South Jersey neighbors.

  • The Ferrara Law Firm is now reviewing Cancer caused by Roundup Pesticide

The weed-killer Roundup has now been determined to be a “probable human carcinogen” by the cancer-research agency of the World Health Organization (WHO). There is evidence of Roundup exposure being linked to cancer and malignant injury or disease including non-Hodgkins lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and leukemia. Roundup is sold both to consumers and to professionals (Farmers/nurseries). Roundup is used by consumers for their personal or household gardens and plants. Just as importantly, it is used extensively in flower nurseries, plant nurseries, and on farms. Both adults and children of all ages may have been exposed.

Roundup PhotoMonsanto developed Roundup in 1974. Roundup is touted by the manufacturer, Monsanto, as being “…specially formulated to kill weeds right down to the root.” This pesticide is often used on crops that the company genetically modified to resist it so that only weeds would be affected. It works by specifically inhibiting an enzyme which is essential to plant growth and life.

In 2012, the U.S. Geological Survey showed that at least 283.5 million pounds of Roundup was sprayed on farmlands in America. Monsanto, the manufacturer of Roundup, makes approximately five billion dollars per year from this product.

If you or a loved one has developed cancer, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, multiple myeloma, or leukemia following exposure to Monsanto’s Roundup we may be able to help. Call us today and we will have our medical team evaluate your potential claim.

If the votes for an attorney are positive enough for inclusion in Best Lawyers, that attorney must maintain those votes in subsequent polls to remain on the list for each edition. Lawyers are not permitted to pay any fee to participate in or be included on our lists.
